Muktuk Dog Adoption Program

 

Muktuk Adventures has a program where you can adopt retired sled dogs. Our dogs retire at all ages - some dogs just aren't suited to dog-sledding!

 

All our dogs are very affectionate and gentle. They are good in a family setting. However, they do love to run, so they do better in homes where there is a fair amount of activity such as walks, hikes, skiing, bicycling, etc.

 

Before we adopt dogs we must feel sure that the dog is going to a good home - to people who understand the long-term commitment that's required. If the relationship doesn't work out we will take the dog back.
