As I nervously clutched a bowl of steaming dog food, all thoughts of the cuddly toy variety deserted me. Which of the pack looked least threatening? I plumped for a dog with large floppy ears and the word "Thinker" daubed on his kennel. Happily, Thinker could not have given me a more enthusiastic reception and I was soon covered in a warm mush of doggy saliva and ground-up bison heart. My love affair with the husky had begun. I would like to say how much I enjoyed my recent trip to Muktuk with Mark & Barbara. I found the whole experience very uplifting, the many interactions with my wonderful team of dogs (Sammy, Holly, Percy, Fitzson, Tucker & Toby), the extraordinary beauty of the area we travelled through, the Northern Lights. What can I say...Thank you all so much for your welcome, we really couldn't have asked for more. The trip far exceeded our expectations and so much of our trip has really stayed with us – I suspect it will for a long time. I won't witter on endlessly...we will just have to come and see you all again next year. Good luck to Frank with the Quest. We will be putting out for you from Wales.

Mushing Rocks! Just wanted to thank you again for an incredible experience. I am still a little sore and tired but wouldn't have missed it for the world. I do hope I can do it again. From the Italians that were there a couple of days ago...

we train dogs with positive reinforce, we never use coercive methods on them and as you know we need a good relationship with the dogs in order to communicate with them. But the way you "talk" with those wonderful animals goes beyond all the technical methods we might use. It is just astonishing and you can tell how much you love them. It is something I've always wanted to achive and I'm working hard to do it. If you ever come to Italy, you know you have friends there! Laura Nudo, (Italy)
