Fall Training, Mini-Tour and Yukon BBQ

Be a part of our training runs, try a mini-tour or enjoy or special “Taste of Yukon” dinner. Meet Yukon Quest legend, Frank Turner, and over 100 of our very friendly sled-dogs. Service is available in German or French.

 

Note: Adult prices are quoted below. Reduced rates are available for youth and children.

  • Fall Training

During the fall – September to November – you can join Frank and our staff for one of our most exciting activity before the winter: our dog training runs, using ATVs (four wheeled farm bike).

 

You can watch and help our crew hook-up a team of very energetic huskies and travel several miles along their training trails through the woods.

You can also tour the kennels and watch a short video about the Yukon Quest, for a glimpse of the race from behind the scenes.

 

Daily: 8.30am - noon.

 

Included in the Fall Training:

 

* Introduction to sled-dogs and training run with a team of huskies
* Short video – an exciting look at the Yukon Quest
* Lots of hands-on time with the dogs and the puppies
* Morning snack and hot beverage

  • Mini-Tour

Description of the tour:

 

For all dog lovers. This is A good option if you don't have too much time, but would like to learn a bit about dog-sledding and life in the Yukon from one of our staff.

 

Daily 1PM to 4PM

 

Included in the tour:

* Guided introduction to sled-dogs and an interactive tour with our friendly dogs
* Lots of photo ops and free time with the dogs and puppies

Join us for an in-depth introduction to sled-dogs, the Yukon Quest and our Yukon lifestyle, as well as a special northern dinner. This is an authentic Yukon experience where you can share our lifestyle for an evening.

 

Daily at 4:30PM
