Directions from Whitehorse by car

Muktuk Kennels is about 24 km (15 miles) from downtown Whitehorse on the banks of the Takhini River.

From Whitehorse, take the Alaska Highway North towards Haines Junction.

You will pass the Klondike Highway junction which leads to Dawson City.

About 4km/2,5 miles after that you will see a large Muktuk Kennels billboard (you're about 1.5km/1 mile from our place).

Just after the Muktuk Kennels sign you will pass a small "Leaving City of Whitehorse" road sign.

One kilometre after that you will see a small "Muktuk" sign on the right hand side of the road indicating the turn off onto a small gravel road leading to our kennels.

Drive about 3.5km down this gravel road. You will pass some of our cabins on the way. Our lodge is at the very end of this road.

With prior arrangement we can pick guests up from Whitehorse International Airport.
