How to Get Here .
. . From There
|
| |
| Most people fly into Whitehorse – if you
do fly, you may get a glimpse of the moon like the view to the
right.
Daily flights are available from Vancouver. There are also
flights three times a week from Calgary and Edmonton.
Air Canada and Air North both offer flights. We strongly
recommend Air North, a regional airline that provides excellent
service. (Also, your baggage has a better chance of arriving
when you do when you travel with Air North, in part because
they use larger aircraft.)

| Click
on the plane to go to the Air North site. |

 |
| We will meet your plane and drive
you out to the Ibex Valley, a little west of Whitehorse.
Our ranch is just below the spruce in the front center
of the photo above.
Muktuk Guest Ranch is on the banks of the Takhini River,
surrounded by mountains and boreal forests. It is a
peaceful and idyllic setting, on the edge of the wilderness.

 |
| In summer, many travellers drive
up the Alaska Highway to Whitehorse, or rent vehicles
after they fly into town.
If you are driving, you will find us on the Alaska
Highway, 20 minutes out of town, on the way to Haines
Junction / Alaska.

The map to the left shows the Alaska
Highway and our little road. There is a large Muktuk sign, 1
mile before our road, and a small government sign right at our
road. The actual location of our turn-off is Kilometer 1443.
Rental Vehicles
If you are looking for RVs, Fraserway has a
great selection and they provide excellent service for any trip
you may have in mind.
If you want to rent a car, SUV or truck, then
Norcan is the place to go to. They have a booth at the airport,
and they will make sure you have the vehicle and equipment
you need for any journey on Yukon roads.
