Full Day Hiking in Kluane National Park

Stunning views no matter how long or short the hike.

Kluane National Park is located in the  southwestern of the Yukon,  approx 140km from Muktuk Adventures.

Enjoy a road trip along the historic Alaska Highway to reach the vast wilderness of forest and towering peaks for the National Park

After a short visit at the tourist information center we decide which trail we are going to hike, depending on group dynamics, weather, trail conditions  and recent bear sightings we will make our way to the trail head.
We will enjoy our picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking views no matter which trail we are going to hike.

On our way back to Muktuk Adventures we make sure to stop at the local ice-cream store for some refreshments.

Trails include The King’s Throne, which winds above Kathleen Lake to a dramatic cirque, the Alsek River Valley Trail where the glacier fed Alsek River snakes through areas inhabited by grizzly bears, or sheep mountain which shelters dall sheep and more than 100 bird species.

There are many other trails within the park just off the Highway of different length and difficulty and we can adjust the trail on the dynamics of the group. Our expert guides will teach you about the history, vegetation an wildlife.
