Dog Sledding Package - Lodge Based

The snow crunching under your runners, the cold and fresh air awakens your spirits and you feel like you are out of this world

Our lodge based dog sledding package is the perfect trip for the novice explorer. Our rustic and cozy lodge will keep you warm during the night while our amazing dogs take you on incredible adventures during the day.

Even if you have never set foot on a dog-sled before you will be mushing your own dog team.

You will learn how to care for the dogs, harness and “bootie” your team before hooking them up to your dog sled.

We will start of easy with and introduction to dog sledding and a comfortable half day mush on the Takhini River. Each day we will evaluate and choose trails depending on your comfort level, with the idea of having the difficulty of the dog sledding  increase daily.

Our experienced guides will be with you every step of the way.

At the end of each dog sledding day we will spoil you with delicious home cooked meals and amazing desserts. Our older and retired dogs will be waiting for you to snuggle up on the couch.

To top it all off, you might even see the northern lights while staying with us. Our lodge is located away from the light pollution of Whitehorse and if the northern lights are active you can see them from the comfort of  our home.
