Lynx Photography Tour with Peter Mather

Where exceptional customer service meets outstanding photography

Every now and then we get to collaborate with some pretty amazing and talented people to offer a very special and unique adventure.

Snowshoe hare numbers fluctuate greatly which directly impacts the lynx population. With the expectation to reach the peak in the 8-11 year cyclical pattern. This is a great opportunity to try and locate and photograph this beautiful creatures in their natural habitat.

Spend 7 nights at our wilderness lodge. We are nestled in an oxbow of the Takhini River and surrounded by boreal forest on the traditional territory Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. Our beautiful home will be the perfect base for your photography adventure ahead.
We will be spoiling you with healthy home cooked meals while Peter Mather will take you on the trails. You will be learning to read and follow tracks in the pursuit to spot and photograph Yukon wildlife, with the focus being lynx.
You also will have plenty of opportunities to fine tune your portrait skills by practicing on our very photogenic dogs.

And to top that all off. Our lodge is located far enough away from the light pollution of Whitehorse that with a bit of luck and perseverance you can spot the northern lights from the comfort of our home.

If you are a photographer and you enjoy to learn and grow with new experiences look no further. This all inclusive package will show you some of the best the Yukon has to offer.
