Here is the ideal half day canoeing adventure to learn the basics of canoeing. The Takhini River is an easy river to paddle so you can immerse into nature and look out for beavers and many species of birds along the way. 
Depending on weather a dog will join the trip in the canoe of the guide. There will be time for you to visit the dogs in our yard either before or after the tour. 
You can also make this a day adventures by adding on lunch and a walk with the dogs in the afternoon.
