Experience the pristine wilderness of the Yukon during this awesome Summer Adventure

The term Cheechako originally referred to gold rush newcomers and is now used for newcomers to the Yukon. No matter if you are a seasoned visitor or if it is your first time visiting this summer adventure has a little bit of everything to make for an unforgettable visit.

Become part of our family, indulge in some delicious home cooked meals and experience the vast and open landscapes of the Yukon. From June to early August marvel at the midnight sun. Those endless summer days are amazing, and our dogs will never say no to a late night stroll along the river shore.
If you want to make this awesome summer adventure even better we suggest coming in the last two weeks of August to get a chance to spot the northern lights.

Don’t miss out on this chance to recharge while enjoying the magic of the Yukon Summers and our outstanding hospitality

Itinerary

Day one – Arrival day, we will pick you up from either the airport or your accommodation in Whitehorse.  Our idyllic little paradise is located only a 25min drive away.

Day two – The morning we will spend on the back of a horse to explore. In the afternoon we will go for a short and scenic hike in the Ibex Valley

Day three –  a full day spent on the water. We will paddle from Kusawa lake to Mendenhall landing. We would say it is one of the most beautiful day trips around.

Day four –  Another full day adventure. Kluane National Park is on the list for the day. We will have yet another scenic drive for about 1.5 to 2h until we reach Haines Junctions. We will visit the very informative and educational visitor center before we continue on to the trail head. St. Elias trail is a short and sweet hike to a small mountain lake, where we will have a picnic lunch.
On our drive back we will stop in Haines Junction again at a local bakery to have a well deserved ice cream.

Day fourDeparture Day  Depending on your previous travel arrangements we will drop you off in either Whitehorse or at the airport.

Delicious and home cooked meals are included as well as endless time with our amazing dogs.
