Day Hike

Kluane National Park

$450
June - September
  • Advance booking required.

Stunning views no matter how long or short the hike.

Kluane National Park is located in the southwestern of the Yukon, approx 140km from Muktuk Adventures, a perfect distance to combine a road trip with a day hike.

Enjoy a road trip along the historic Alaska Highway to reach the vast wilderness of forest and towering peaks.

Trails to choose from are either
Sheep Creek, which shelters dall sheep and more than 100 bird species including stunning views of the slims river valley.  Moderate Hike
Auriol Trail – the trail is cut through mixed boreal forest and leads to a sub-alpine bench just in front of the Auriol Range – Moderate Hike.

On our way back to Muktuk Adventures we make sure to stop at the local ice-cream store for some refreshments.

There are many other trails within the park just off the Highway of different length and difficulty and we can adjust the trail on the dynamics of the group.
Please ask in advance if you want to hike a specific trail. For private tours additional charges might apply.
